Welcome to BadRiverBoats. We're dedicated to providing you with the best hand-welded aluminum boats. BadRiverBoats models are manufactured for outboard application with self-bailing sealed floor/hull. Built with high-grade aluminum and a 5-bar checker plate pattern in a brite finish for its excellent anti-slip and anti-corrosion performance. Versatile, unique, and modern.

We build custom high-quality aluminum workboats for construction, ministry, and commercial applications including policing, patrol, fire, dive, research, oil spill response, water taxis, fishing, pleasure craft, and much more!
Our
Story
Get to Know Us
Founded in 2020 by Patrick Mechanical and Group of companies. BadRiverBoats started out as a need for our workers to access remote worksites in Northern Ontario, Canada. We needed to shuttle workers and divers to dam sites to execute repairs as set out by our customers. A premanufactured purchase was not available in time for us to execute our scope of work. In the same time period, one of the company's founders was taking friends fishing on the Bad River, the north shore of Georgian Bay. This experience along headwaters and fast currents led to the final inspiration for the design of a tiller-style boat branded the BadRiverBoats, which was utilitarian in nature, safe for rough water travel, and set up so that families could enjoy family outings to explore the rugged waterways of the north chanel.
